Our Ring of canals guided tours

There are loads of guides describing Amsterdam’s canals, interesting buildings and museums. But Mee in Mokum has a lot more to offer you. Our expert tour guides will point out unexpected fascinating details and tell you all about their backgrounds. They will explain to you what pothuizen are and tell you about houses that were built 'on the run', the trees and bridges along the canals in the city centre and much, much more. Stories about Amsterdam’s history and entertaining anecdotes about some of our city’s remarkable occupants will turn your City Centre tour into a great experience.

We offer you a choice of three Canal Distrct guided tours, each of which covers a different area with a character all its own.
